Have you ever spent days goggling interventions that you can use to get rid of your anxiety? Well I do, I remember searching things like the best anxiety therapist near me. Or how to stop an anxiety attack.

As a lifelong sufferer of anxiety disorder, I can say I pretty much tried everything to help me get rid of my anxiety.

For years I would get upset when my mom would tell me just stay positive and everything would go away. She was unaware that I had crippling negative thoughts that would penetrate my mind without my permission. She couldn’t understand how much effort I had to exert just to leave my house or feel normal.

My anxiety would often be triggered out of nowhere so it was hard for me to understand how I could solve it. I would often get these intrusive negative thoughts that would never stop. These thoughts would sometimes be a series of what if questions centered on what would happen if things went wrong.

I would constantly be worried about what others thought so I just wouldn’t speak. When I did speak I would choose every word I said carefully, which made me feel awkward in most situations. This caused me to feel like I had social anxiety disorder. I knew I needed to do something so I sought out professional help for my anxiety disorder. Admitting I had a problem was difficult but I didn’t want to live this way so I got over my fear and went to an anxiety treatment  center near me.

What if I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder?

As I enter the anxiety treatment near me I thought to myself, “great I’m finally going to do something about this anxiety”. I thought that getting a diagnosis for an anxiety disorder was going to help. I convinced myself that once I was seen by a professional, my problem would be solved. Lol nope, this was only the beginning of my misery.

For years I worked tirelessly to try to get rid of this anxiety disorder. I read tons of books and met with many therapists but over and over I would have the same problem. That problem was that I would get temporary relief from my anxiety disorder but it would come back. It was like I was doomed to live with this generalized anxiety for the rest of my life. (I probably read about mindfulness meditation 100xs during this point).

These anxious feelings just would not go away. Sure I had a few moments of success while having a mindfulness meditation session. It worked for a little in reducing my anxious thoughts. But nothing really worked long term to reduce anxiety for me.

And believe me I’ve tried everything. Like mediation practice, mindfulness practice, stress reduction, heck even mindfulness based cognitive therapy that numerous anxiety therapist near me recommended. Nothing worked. (I even tried essential oils and acupuncture. I was desperate.)

I would even try breathing techniques, anxiety medication and positive self-statements but they all failed.

Life was unbearable for me and I thought I was never going to get better. I had poor sleep and I was always worried about the worst-case scenario happening. I experienced negative thoughts almost every day. I was constantly jumping to conclusions, fearing the worst and always on the verge of panic attacks. Everyday life for me just seemed bad.

I was always exhausted, never had any energy. But to be honest that wasn’t the worst part about this. The worst part was that I hated myself.

I hated myself for being so fearful all the time. For not taking chances. For not being assertive. For not being confident. And for being an impostor.

Reducing anxiety became the primary motivator in my life. So I went through every peer-reviewed journal that I could get my hands on. And I would pay attention to all the self-judgment thoughts I had.

These negative thoughts would attempt to convince me that my anxiety was never going to leave me. That all I was doing was causing myself more anxiety and stress by trying to work on ways to get rid of the bodily sensations I experienced. Like clenching my jaw all the time and the muscle tension making me feel exhausted. Or even worse, where I would feel like my heart was going to explode out of my chest.

My life was unmanageable. But what made it worse was that I was a therapist having these problems. Picture being a mechanic and not being able to fix your own car. That was me. So I felt like a fraud. How could I help my clients if I couldn’t help myself?

I really hit a dead end and didn’t know what to do next.

But then I realized something about anxiety. Something I never noticed about anxiety before but should have. What I noticed is that I was creating my anxiety. Yep me. No matter where I went or what I did, I would find some way to have anxious feelings. Oftentimes I would make things bigger than they really were. Or I would imagine the worst happening before it even happens. This was all my doing. And after I imagined the worst happening I would go into a trance-like state where I became anxious. So I decided to look at how I can break this trance-like state and I stumbled upon something incredible.

What I discovered helped me in so many ways. But it also helped me destroy generalized anxiety disorder because I learned how I was creating it. And no this wasn’t a mindfulness-based stress reduction technique. What I discovered was a real game-changer and it allowed me to feel normal and to stop having all these negative thoughts about myself.

It worked so much faster than any of the therapeutic techniques I learned in graduate school. At first, I thought hypnosis was something mystical but then I saw it came heavily backed by research. Best of all, it empowered me and helped my confidence skyrocket.

It allowed me to pull from my inner resources in order to reduce my anxiety and stress. It did what mindfulness meditation couldn’t do.

It allowed me to stop overthinking everything and, more importantly, it helped me help my clients more than ever before. What would usually take years to accomplish in traditional treatment only took a couple of sessions with hypnosis.

It allowed me to stop overthinking everything and, more importantly, it helped me help my clients more than ever before. What would usually take years to accomplish in traditional treatment only took a couple of sessions with hypnosis. This is something I wish the anxiety treatment centers near me would have incorporated.

Now you may be a little confused as to how and why it works so I’ll briefly describe it for you.

With hypnosis, you’re working with the subconscious mind, which is the part of the brain that is responsible for your anxiety. It creates immediate relaxation responses within you.

Hypnosis worked. Unlike other approaches, like cognitive behavioral therapy, which doesn’t work as effectively because they are treating the conscious mind and that is not where the problem lies. Working with the conscious mind to help you become less anxious is not effective. If it were, I would have been able to consciously resolve my anxiety long ago.

See the problem lies in the subconscious mind because it’s responsible for your fight or flight response which is the system that fuels your anxiety. Working with the subconscious mind in order to get it under control is the perfect solution.

This is exactly what hypnosis does. It allows you to speak directly to the subconscious mind and get it to work with you to overcome your problem.

This is why this process works so well.

I am able to teach you concrete techniques that you can apply right away. So, even if your anxiety returns years later, you will feel confident with your ability to handle it on your own. My biggest goal is to be able to look you in the eye and let you know you will never have to see me again for this. Once the work is done, it’s done.

Your program will be custom-designed based on you.

Unlike other anxiety treatment centers , I don’t believe one size fits all. Here’s a glimpse of what my clients often discover:

An ultra-secret process to reduce your anxiety in a matter of minutes that has nothing to do with medications.

How your past subconscious programming has stunted your progress in life, what you can do to rewire it, and an objective process to measure whether or not you’re getting better.

The role your imagination plays in keeping your anxiety and how you can start overriding it.

The power of “state channeling” so you can command confidence on demand.

Why anxiety is a hypnotic state and how you can free yourself from it using hypnosis.

What a negative coach is and how it’s been hurting your progress.

How humor is one of the best ways to combat anxiety and how to use it when you want.

Unmatched professional experience from thousands of hours of training and tens of thousands of hours helping people just like you.

Ongoing support with videos and audio programs designed to enhance the changes well after we’ve worked together.

Mastery of the Three Paths Method so you can annihilate social anxiety disorder and stop feeling awkward when speaking to others. You can finally be the person you always wanted to be and not let your anxiety continue to control you.

Plus you will get lifetime access to my 10 minutes of greatness meditation technique which is one of the most powerful stress reduction techniques you will ever encounter.

Why would this work better than headspace?

Headspace is a great app but that is all it is. All you can expect from an app is temporary stress reduction. But nothing is going to really change until you challenge yourself and take real steps to reduce anxiety symptoms.

How are you different then other anxiety treatment centers?

Why this works better than Mindfulness meditation:

I’ll be the first one to champion the benefits of mindfulness meditation. It works great at reducing anxiety symptoms. However, it has one shortcoming: it doesn’t teach you how to rewire your anxious thoughts. So it works great when you remember to be present moment by moment. But it sometimes requires too much focus and someone with generalized anxiety may not be willing to use this mindful practice for the rest of their life.

How is this different from Anxiety Treatment Centers?

Anxiety treatment centers use a one size fits all model for anxiety disorders and even panic disorders. They use a combination of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and/or medication for everyone. This is because it’s the easiest approach to learn and is pretty effective. However, you may have experienced these approaches have had little effect on your generalized anxiety disorder. You may have also noticed, although you have gained insight into your anxious feelings, overall you don’t feel better. If so it’s because of what I mentioned above- these processes don’t address the subconscious mind.

Will this work with panic disorder?

Yes this will work for panic disorder. Although panic disorders are different from generalized anxiety disorders, they do have some overlap. For instance, they are both overreactions to neutral stimuli.

You may feel a bit of apprehension with what the difference is between hypnosis and mindfulness meditation.

Anxiety treatment centers near me have told me I’ll have to take medication.

This isn’t necessarily true in fact many of the people I’ve worked with have stopped taking medication or reduced the amount they use to take. The reason this happens is because I teach them how to stop creating their anxiety. Also sometimes medication just suppresses your bodies adrenaline responses but doesn’t treat the underlaying issue.

With mindfulness meditation and mindfulness-based stress reduction all you are focused on is feeling more relaxed. But you aren’t trying to solve the actual problem. Which means you are accepting that the problem is never going to go away. With hypnosis, you are guided through experiences that help your mind develop inner resources to solve the problem.

I’ve looked for driving anxiety therapist near me and can’t fine anything?

Most anxiety therapist dont specialize in this problem. They typically will use cognitive based techniques which dont work with this problem. What you really want to look for is a hypnotist to help you with this issue. They are more experienced with dealing with this kind of fear.

What separates anxiety therapist near me?

The main factor that separates anxiety based therapist near you is their experience modality and skills at building rapport. The more diverse they are in their training the better able they will be at treating your anxiety. Make sure that the therapist you work with doesn’t just rely on using Cognitive behavioral therapy. As its effective but its never a one size fits all approach with therapy.

How do I know your the best depression and anxiety therapist near me.

This contains a similar answer to the above related question. However I would also lean on the therapist’s ability to inspire hope and confidence that you can change. If they cant do this over a simple consultation I donut they will be effective doing it during the session.
